Skype is an instant messaging client which was developed by Microsoft Skype division.The name was derived from ‘sky’ and ‘peer’. Which means that communication can be possible all over the world like a ‘sky’ to our peer groups or relatives?

In Skype, we can do instant messaging through internet facility, video calling using webcam and can send images or can do screen-sharing which means that if the user don’t want to send bunch of files because of downloading process, then user can use this facility who can see the sender will be able to see the images videos etc.

Again Whatsapp messenger is a social application to stay in touch with friends or relatives. Whatsapp messenger is an application available for smartphones and android phones.

This application needs only internet connection to use. Users need only 3g, 2g, wifi connection to chat with friends or relatives or to anyone.Through this application, we can do chatting as well as can send images, videos and audios.As, for chatting, you and your user should have Whatsapp messenger in your phone, then you can chat unlimited. You can send unlimited message’s in a day.

In Whatsapp, we can create groups or can do group chats. It is very simple to use with nice interface and good quality.There is some disadvantage that video calling is not available for all mobile phones and also not available for Linux.
